You know what?
You’re ambitious. You’ve got amazing ideas, products, and services.
But, if there was one word to describe your current website, what would it be? Let’s talk if it’s anything other than awesome.
Whether you need to add something new to your site, or you straight up want a full redesign — you’re definitely in the right place.
Since you’re here at this moment, something tells me that you’ve got a positive mindset and want to share your great ideas and products.
But maybe you…
No matter where you are in your online business journey you know one thing for sure – that you want your website to have a BIGGER impact.
You need to use your creativity towards something that matters, both to you and the world. You’re READY to take your business to the next level. But how to make that a reality? It sucks when you feel stuck.Trust me, my new friend, I’ve been there.
Around here, I have a few core beliefs…
- I believe you have the power to build a website that creates a profit, brings you joy, and changes people’s lives. I’ll show you how to do it.
- I believe you deserve to be happy with your website and I’m determined to show you the tools to make it happen.
- If I’m being honest, I also believe that Thai iced tea and saber fencing can cure almost any bad day.
The gist is this: you’ve got something important to do, sell, or say…and I’m here to help you do that with a website that delivers results.
Hello, I’m Rachael and I am OBSESSED with teaching online entrepreneurs and bloggers how to use WordPress to share their messages, products, and services with the world.
How did this become my life?
Well, in 2008, I found myself in Seattle, having moved there from Los Angeles, my hometown. In Washington, I felt adrift in a job in the beauty industry that had left me feeling underutilized, and underpaid.
I felt alone, I was isolated, and truly, I think I was miserable. Throw in some very dreary weather where I was indoors a lot and a relationship that had been heading south for awhile.
So I found myself with lots of time to blog about my various niches and voila. Enter WordPress!
Then I started another personal blog, this time with WordPress, as a simple creative outlet, in hopes of making some new friends and possibly getting paid to help people figure out their own blogs?
I certainly had no ambitions of making it my full-time job. Hell, I wasn’t even aware it COULD be a full-time job.
My blog became an off-hours obsession.
A lot has happened since then. I’ve moved around a bit, to Portland, OR until 2011, when I moved to the Bay Area, where I resided until 2017. Now I find myself back again in Portland, a place that I have a strange relationship with. Rather than feel like a total alien, I’ve embraced it and make no apologies about being 40+.
Sometimes I write about the challenges that are inherent in aging. F*ck “age appropriate”, let’s just start with occasion appropriate. Sounds better, don’t you think? Plus, rather than stating that I’m ___ years old, how about using levels instead? From now on, you may refer to my latest unlocked achievement, which is level 44.
